Tough Kookie has been established for ten years and was originally founded by Nathan Simpson from Newport, South Wales. During this time Nathan traveled back and for London supplying independent boutiques in Covent garden.
Tough Kookie is celebrating 10 years trading this year and is changing strategy and is now looking to provide educational and employment opportunities through Fashion.
Tough Kookie has just finished it’s search for 10 models to feature on the website as well as other promotional work. This summer Tough Kookie are training local people to deliver OCN qualifications to young people through various courses linked to fashion. The aim will be to enable young people to come up with designs that celebrate 10 years of Tough Kookie. The best designs will go to print and retail on the website.
The Slogan for Tough Kookie is Take Kontrol and will feature on the next clothing range.
